Wi-Fi enabled, ready for clinical trials, delivered in months

For its electrostimulation device, YBrain USA needed to collect reliable efficacy data in an attractive, ergonomic design.

Their lightweight specification led to a works-like prototype. Our short manufacturing run placed them in the hands of YBrain engineers within two months.

Exciting efficacy data generated from these early prototypes allowed us to keep iterating. With the ability to rapidly deploy firmware updates over USB and quickly rework boards, stimulation waveforms could be modified in hours and days.

Our industrial design team continued to evolve the look, feel, and human factors from the initial concept.

With a focus on 3D-printability and fast-turn manufacturing through RTV molding, we simplified and streamlined the model.

Using the Trialomics Picard.io and Particle.io platforms, our software team added real-time monitoring and efficacy data collection over Wi-Fi.

Within five months, we had a final product
